Business Development Manager

THE ROLE

 

As a Business Development Manager, Core Business you will be responsible for proactively pursuing new business opportunities while maintaining profitable customer relationships in an assigned territory to achieve company objectives. While handling Business Development Manager duties, you will be asked to uphold and develop relationships with all substantial stakeholders in your defined territory to include: collegiate athletics groups, college parking operations, ticket service providers, professional sports teams, museums, zoos, fairs, festivals, and brokers of tickets. You will work closely with the Company’s account management team to price, define, and coordinate a customer’s order to aide in the production process.

 

 

THE SKILLS

 

·       Able to work within well-defined sales process (CRM system, KPIs, pitch goals) to deliver results

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Time management skills to coordinate numerous time-sensitive projects

·       Carry out face-to-face and Zoom meetings to drive business

·       Actively develop meaningful relationships with key stakeholders among prospect list and customer list to create upsell opportunities

·       Knowledge of print industry techniques preferred

·       Good interpersonal skills to work jointly within multi segments of the company

·       Must be highly motivated and a positive team player

·       Show the ability to multitask

·       Display functional negotiation skills to handle customer inquiries, pricing negotiations, and concerns

·       Travel as needed for customer visits and relevant conferences to achieve sales goals

Summary

Innovation has long been, and remains, at the heart of Weldon, Williams & Lick, Inc. While an innovative mindset has always been a part of the organization, we are finally incorporating a role into our operation that focuses on nothing but it.

We are looking for a motivated innovation manager to lead our company, in conjunction with our Product Development team, in developing new products, services, and processes that will help us maintain our competitive edge. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in innovation management, with a focus on market analysis, trendspotting, ideation, and project management. This person will be responsible for developing and executing innovation strategies and overseeing the entire innovation process from ideation to commercialization. Duties & Responsibilities

Ø  Develop and implement an innovation strategy that is aligned with the company’s goals

Ø  Conduct research to identify industry trends, new technologies, and innovative solutions that can be applied to the company’s products, services, or processes

Ø  Analyze data and market trends to generate insights that will inform the innovation process

Ø  Develop and manage relationships with external partners, such as universities, research institutes, and suppliers, to identify opportunities for collaboration

Ø  Create and oversee the budget for the innovation department, ensuring that funds are used efficiently and effectively

Ø  Provide guidance and support for the company throughout the ideation, development, and implementation phases of projects

Ø  Monitor, analyze, and communicate innovation metrics to senior management to see opportunities to improve the company’s innovative performance

Ø  Train employees on how to use new technologies and processes

Ø  Stay up to date on latest industry trends and developments

Ø  Perform other duties as assigned

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

Ø  Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing, entrepreneurship, or related field preferred

Ø  4+ years’ experience in product development, project management, or similar role

Ø  Proven track record of working through successful campaigns

Ø  Strong understanding of product development cycle and process

Ø  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ø  Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

THE ROLE

As the Manager of Brand Marketing for Weldon, Williams & Lick (WW&L) you will manage the company’s image, voice, and persona through the implementation of marketing initiatives for both WW&L and our subsidiary, KIS Technologies. Through collaboration with our leadership and sales team, with research into industry trends, you will create campaigns and a long term vision to lead a shift in the perception of our company.   • Functional knowledge in managing and leading SEO/SEM, social media, email and marketing database campaigns
  • Experience with Hubspot and ZoomInfo digital platforms preferred
  • Prior experience working through a corporate rebrand preferred
