THE ROLE

As the Marketing Manager for Weldon, Williams & Lick you will manage the company’s promotion and advertising efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness. Collaboration with our team to develop marketing strategies and define market trends is critical. This opportunity requires a person with:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE​

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications is required.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in marketing or advertising.
Individuals should also have solid experience in managing and leading SEO/SEM, social media, email, and marketing database campaigns.
Experience with Hubspot and Zoominfo digital platforms preferred.

Supervisor

Bindery/Verifying Departments

Weldon, Williams & Lick, Inc.

Purpose: Responsible for all work performed in the Bindery/Verifying. Manage production in the department; responsible for productivity, quality, timeliness, and cost control of work in the Bindery/Verifying. Assign work and give instructions to personnel. Plan, organize influence, and control issues related to efficient Bindery/Verifying processes and effective personnel. Work cooperatively with all production supervisors and customer service/sales personnel.

Reports to: VP Production

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Grade/Range: Commensurate upon qualification

General Duties:

Directly supervise the assigned production functions to ensure the production of the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost, while meeting company standards for quality and performance, and customer specifications and delivery requirements.

Train, develop, and communicate with staff.

Review department and corporate goals with superiors and subordinates on annual basis.

Establish standards of work performance and methods of operation for the department by example.

Support improvements in work methods and procedures.

Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, ongoing improvement of processes, methods, productivity, and quality, while reducing costs.

Perform inspections on products and processes, ensuring the meeting of quality standards in accordance with customer and company specifications.

Assist in the improvement of time standards.

Address and resolve inquiries and problems related to assigned functions.

Ensure the training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the company’s standards for quality, quantity, and safety, and consistent with the company’s principles.

Keep management informed on general conditions and on matters of importance that could impact quality, cost, safety, or employee morale.

Develop and maintain positive employee relations and ensure open lines of communication with employees.

Attend and actively participate in all assigned meetings and committees.

Complete special projects as assigned.

Ensure the completion of all required records, paperwork, reports, documents, etc.

Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations. Ensure the maintenance of departmental housekeeping standards.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of printing techniques and company guidelines.
  • Familiarity with printing operations and WW&L guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership through example
  • Ability to adjust to rapidly changing requirements and schedules.
  • Ability to confront and discipline reporting employees when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Job Requirements:

Overtime will be expected; must be willing to work weekends and holidays if needed.

Attendance is essential in this position; one must be reliable, dependable, and punctual.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position for purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment.

This position requires handling confidential information discreetly and professionally.

Physical Requirement:

The ability to lift 50 pounds and greater several times a shift.

Frequently required to walk and stand.

Minimum Qualifications:

Five years in the printing industry with increasing management responsibility.

Some colleges preferred.

Work Environment:

This is an onsite working position in an office/factory environment. The noise level is usually moderate.
