Purpose: Produce printed materials in accordance with customer specifications and established guidelines for quality, accuracy and speed set forth by WW&L.
Report to: Bindery Supervisor
Job Type: Full Time
Cut product down to meet customer specifications and company standards for quality and accuracy.
Verify jobs for quality and accuracy set forth by the company.
Identify areas to reduce spoiled work and increase productivity.
Read and understand tracers, copy sheets, manifest sheets and other instruction sheets.
Clean, oil, grease, adjust, repair and service equipment.
Ensure all safety guards and procedures are observed.
Maintain record of work time spent and materials used per order.
Assist throughout the department and plant as requested, operating related equipment to facilitate workflow.
Maintain a clean work area.
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of printing techniques and company guidelines.
Familiarity with printing operations and WW&L guidelines and procedures.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Overtime will be required.
Occasional travel may be required.
Attendance is essential in this position; must be reliable, dependable and punctual.
The ability to lift 10 pounds and greater several times a shift.
Extensive grasping, fanning, bending, lifting and physical manipulation of printed material is required.
Extensive walking and standing required.

High school diploma required. Some secondary education preferred. Similar work experience preferred.
This is an onsite working position in a factory environment. Ear plugs must be worn if noise level exceeds 85 dBA.
